“"I am writing to you to let you know the enjoyment I had reading Ms. Latissua book. ( Testaments From Survivors: Women healed & whole ) This is a book about women telling a testimony story that happened to them in real life. One Sunday I was sitting in church and at the end of the service, Ms. Latissua approached me and said, " I have something I like to give you." It was the book. It took a couple of weeks for me to get to it and start reading. Of course The first story I read was hers. I said to myself by looking at this young lady you would never know she went through what she went through. But then again that’s life and you never know what somebody’s going through unless they express themself. After that I flipped through the book and found out a long lost childhood friend was also an author in the book. Boy, how does God work! Found a childhood friend that I had not seen in years and was able to get back in contact with her. But getting to my review on the book, it is an eye-opener to all people in life. Especially women, it's like we go through things in life and we don’t know how to express it or say it or feel uncomfortable by doing so. It makes you feel that you’re not alone. It makes you know mentally we all go through things and just don’t share it some of us feel embarrassed some of us just hold it in and end up stressing out on the everyday REAL LIFE ISSUES.So at the end of the day, the book has taught me I am not by myself in things that are happening in my own life and it’s OK and we can overcome it. Thank you, for the book and the good reading it offers."”

“Testaments from Survivors Women Healed & Whole, The Last Lady Taking My Identity Back” I ordered the book from Latissua. The day I received it I immediately sat down to read it. I don’t remember what I expected it to be – maybe more like a chick lit thing but it turned out quite different. The book is a real story and is a short journal of a lady that lost her identity within a marriage. In her marriage she done what we as a believer would do in response to keeping their family together. Enduring life with love an longsuffering to ensure their family stay together. In her story they had lived mostly with heavy involvement of ministry impacting the loyalty to one another. Although she had everything that most people dreamed about having and aspire to have- Believing Husband, Kids, Ministry and Career; Latissua was not happy in her life, she wasn’t happy in her marriage. “I continued to go Sunday after Sunday, Wednesday after Wednesday, function after function bleeding inside and being in the house of the Lord was the last place I wanted to be. Why is he changing on me, I thought? What is all this chaos? Lord, what is going on here? Infidelity has happened again.” She was a sick and tired lady of dealing with the same things while she was enduring in loyalty. As she said took a leap of faith. It’s a beautiful story of how God will provide for you when you take the step to move out on faith. This book is about that life changing choice where after God established her to took her identity back that rests in God and in God alone.”

“Awesome Read I really enjoyed The last lady : Taking my Identity back.It was a reminder of how important it is not to lose ourselves trying to please everyone else.I truly admire the courage ,strength and boldness she demonstrated to walk away from the unhealthy relationship to rediscover who God had called her to be.”

“Latissua Barnhardt has written in her book about her experiences that so many women are afraid and ashamed to talk about.
Her book will not only inspire other women to share their stories but will encourage them that God has a bigger plan for them.
Latissua shares her own adversities without hesitation. Her need to help others deal with infidelity within the church is quite fearless and admirable.”

“I have read this book a total of 3 times and each time I’ve found something I didn’t read before. This book made me realized that no matter what I’m going through in life at this very moment, God is a God that he will never leave us or forsake us. I blamed God so much for the things I’m currently going through. Not understanding why he’s allowing me to go through the things I’m experiencing. While all alone, he’s preparing me for greater. If the authors in this book can overcome the tragic moments in their lives, so can I. I’m going to continue to trust in my Father and have faith that everything will be alright!”

“We all have a story to tell and I believe many of us are hand picked flowers who grew in the wrong gardens...but somehow we managed to whither through the storms and just kept growing until the Farmer felt it was time fro the world to see how strong and beautiful you'd become....now let your light shine past all your pains and smile, because you are a Masterpiece.”
